Strengthening Families During Times of COVID
On May 5th, 2020, Carmen Valdez co-facilitated a webinar in Spanish entitled ‘Strengthening Families During Times of COVID’. The webinar was sponsored by Migrant Clinicians Network. Strategies from the Fortalezas Familiares program included self-care and creating a stable base for children, creating flexible routines and expectations, spending time with family, and family communication. The intended audience was Latino parents from the community at large.
